At Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery of Williamsburg, we make every effort to provide you with the finest care and the most convenient financial options. To accomplish this we work hand-in-hand with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures.
Dr Hartmann was a charter member of a national organization of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons that has established a “best practice” financial model. We have a regional billing office, shared with many other Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in this area.
These are employees who are dedicated to maximizing correct and efficient billing and insurance claims for each patient. In many cases, they are connected to your insurance company online to speed up claims.
They attend seminars on a regular basis to remain on the leading edge with regard to insurance claims. Dr. Hartmann is a “provider” for most of the larger insurance companies, however many patients that we treat prefer to come to our practice regardless of whether we are “in-network.”
In most cases, they will still provide some coverage, and we will let you know all coverage and fee information before you have treatment.
Please remember that you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office, regardless of your insurance coverage. We pledge to help every patient understand the fees involved in your care prior to any treatment.
We will send a monthly statement. Most insurance companies will respond within 4-6 weeks. Any remaining balance after your insurance has been paid is your responsibility, and your prompt remittance is appreciated.
We can make arrangements for monthly payments interest-free, via CareCredit, but that is implemented prior to treatment.
Payments can be made using most credit cards, cash, or checks. If you have any problems or questions, please ask our staff. They are well informed and up-to-date.
